Mixed Feelings

Delivery was very efficient and punctual.
The cake was not entirely bad, but did not meet our high hopes. We were excitedly waiting for a tangy and zesty lemony taste, instead, the cake itself was heavy, a little dense. A little lighter texture would have been perfect. The curd filling was nice, but the outer cream layer was flat and tasteless. Was not a suitable finish for the cake, taste and texture wise. We expected more zest and tang, but it was more sweet than tangy. The tanginess you would expect in a lemon curd cake was missing. And it needs to sit for long in room temperature to get the best version of the cake.
