Order Acceptance Policy
All orders and or requests received are subject to the discretion of Cake Together Sdn Bhd and any of its personnel, reserves the right to reject the order without providing a reason. In the event of rejection, Cake Together will cancel or refund any payments via the payment method used to place the order.
Changes to your Order
Cake Together thrives for the best for our customers and will always do our best to accommodate when possible, we will only be able to confirm that a change can be successfully made when it is informed to Cake Together 24-hours before the intended delivery date and time. This applies to any changes, such as, changes to delivery date, delivery time, handwritten message card, etc.
Cake Together reserves the right to reject changes at our sole discretion if the change is informed within 24-hours of the intended delivery date and time.
If you would like to make any changes to your order, you may only do so if the request for a change is receiving 24-hours before the intended delivery date and time by contacting Cake Together via our email address - hello@caketogether.com or via Whatsapp +603 3310 0011.
Cancellation Policy
If you have placed an order for a cake to delivered on the same day as your order date, it is not possible for you to cancel or change your delivery date or time. This is because the cakes are made as soon as you receive this email (your order has been processed) and are perishable. Therefore, postponing your delivery date to a later one will not be possible.
In the event, determined by a case by case basis, a cancellation is permitted by personnel of Cake Together, the refund will be made in terms of Cake Together in-store credit only.
Product and Substitution Policy
All products offered on Cake Together are subject to availability. In the event that there are any difficulties in supply, Cake Together reserves the right to substitute a product of equivalent value and quality with notice via email.
In the event that the substitute item is not of equal to the value of the initial order in terms of monetary value, Cake Together will offer a refund of the difference in terms of the payment method that was used to place the order.
In the event that the substitute item is of higher value of the initial order in terms of monetary value, a payment of the difference will have to be paid before the order is fulfilled.
Product requests such as changes in colour, add-ons, size, etc will be fulfilled to the best of our ability and have to be informed to Cake Together via our email address - hello@caketogether.com or Whatsapp +603 3310 0011.
Delivery Policy
Same day delivery orders will have to be placed before 4pm to be delivered on the same day. Orders placed after 4pm will be delivered the following day or any other day as selected by you.
1. Deliveries are available from Mondays throughout Sundays
2. Deliveries are fulfilled via time slots and deliveries for specific timings are not available.
3. Although Cake Together strives to deliver your order in the most punctual manner as possible, we cannot be held liable if your order is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances that are out of the control of Cake Together.
4. Please take note that when our driver arrives at the delivery location, they will allocate 10-15 minutes of waiting time. If however, past that there is no one there to receive the cake. Our rider will leave to proceed with their other deliveries and circle back to do yours. In that case, a re-delivery charge of RM30 will be imposed.
5. Delivery fee is charged based on the distance of the bakery you have chosen to your desired address. You can have a look at our delivery charges here
Damages
Your orders are packaged to ensure they are well delivered. However, due to unforeseen circumstances that are well beyond our control, your order may get damaged in transit. Should this occur to a level that you deem unacceptable, please contact us via hello@caketogether.com or Whatsapp us at +603 3310 0011 immediately and inform us of the issue at hand with attached images to support your claim so that we can arrange for a replacement cake to be delivered at the soonest available date or arrange a refund, at Cake Together's sole discretion.
Please note that you will have to notify us of the damage at least 4 hours from receiving your order, with images to support your claim. If the report is made after 4 hours from receiving your order, Cake Together may not accept the report as we are unable to investigate the matter to its full extend and the parties involved.
Returns, Exchanges and Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the product, no exchanges or returns are permitted.
To begin a refund claim, you will have to ensure to report your case within 24 hours upon receiving your order via email at hello@caketogether.com or Whatsapp us at +603 3310 0011. An investigation will then be conducted and reviewed by personnel of Cake Together. You will have to present images to support your claim along with your order number and reasons on why a refund request is being made. In the event that your case is eligible, a refund will be made via the payment method used to place the order. Please take note that a refund will take 3 to 5 working days, also subjected to the relevant banks.
Factors beyond our control
Cake Together shall not be held liable in delays in delivery or the non-fulfilment of an order due to unforeseen circumstances such as, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, major traffic congestion, act of government mandated laws, failure of machinery, default of partners, theft or any circumstances beyond control of Cake Together.
